Live the Question Coaching
Coaching
Hello to you all. Thanks for reading about coaching. I’m so glad you’re curious about this work, because it is so important!
My coaching work is not about ‘how to parent’, it’s not about behavioral issues or parenting strategies for a more peaceful day-to-day with your children. This work is for you. The You that loves your kiddos more than anything, and yet feels stifled within the pressures, obligations and responsibilities you carry. The roles you fulfill (mother/father/parent, spouse, employee, professional, the list goes on) take up all the space, more than all. We try so hard to be everything that we want our children to have. We carry such pressure to fulfill obligations to clients or employers, to hustle, win, compete. We caretake more than just our children. It can be utterly mystifying how to show up in our marriages or partnerships, at the end of these longest days. And there is too often nothing left for us, of us.
When is the last time you did that thing you used to do, before kids, that you used to love so much? (Motorcycle riding, painting, salsa dancing, watching old movies, going to the lake, playing the instrument, daydreaming…) These things aren’t trivial. The world needs you filled up, needs your unique gifts. Your kids need that. You need it.
I want every mother, father, and parent to have the permission to have needs. I want you to feel relief from the internalized expectations and fight back against the never-ending external expectations. I want to help you unpack the messages that would have you give everything away until there’s nothing left of you, that would have you perpetually "on" and never quite enough.
You deserve to live, to have your own pleasures and creativity and rest and peace, filled up and fully resourced. That’s what we want to give our kids. Prioritizing your own self-love and sense of worthiness is NOT selfish—it's absolutely essential.
This is not a straightforward process. A favorite quote from Rilke urges us to ‘live the question’ and ‘be patient towards all the remains unsolved in our hearts.’ This work, like parenting, is ever-unfolding and makes the work of parenting richer, more beautiful, more precious. Doing this work of showing up to ourselves, carving out space for ourselves in these packed lives, allows us to appreciate and more fully experience the good stuff we don’t want to miss.
This is a journey to rediscover your creativity and selfhood. I invite you to embrace the questions, live them fully, and gradually, gently, step into a more balanced and self-honoring way of being.
Give me a call or text and let’s talk more about how we make this happen. I offer 1:1 individual coaching, couples’ coaching, support groups, and workshops.

Hello, beautiful soul, my name is Rachel Piccoli, and I am a Certified Life and Wellness Coach. My soul reaches out to help you align spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically to motherhood and the stresses of the all-encompassing YOU. I am a Colorado mama with a Southern heart; I have had the pleasure of being married to my handsome husband for over 18 years. We get to enjoy a beautiful little soul in the form of our daughter; it has been a true pleasure raising her together and sharing all that goes into shaping a young child while allowing her authentic being to be revealed. I live in the country and enjoy the pleasure of riding horses, tending to the slice of heaven on earth that God has presented to us, nurturing my flower garden, watching my daughter delight in all our animals, and sitting with my husband on our porch while listening to the sounds that each season brings. I am grateful to be a part of your journey toward finding aligned joy and happiness!
It is EASY in motherhood to put others' needs above your own, not knowing how important it is to nurture yourself. You are the HEART and SOUL of your family; you are the one that those little eyes stare up at, wondering what they would do without you.
My desire for you is to reconnect you with your DEEPEST knowing, your SOUL'S truth, as the mother, friend, spouse, and individual you have always been. I desire your soul to stir and the deepest part of you to IGNITE, guiding you closer and closer to the strong, seductive, productive, carefree, feminine badass you are, accepting and receiving that the more little things you do for yourself, the more you pour from your overflow; the less you bark at your kids and husband, and instead see them as a gift. A gift of triggers and healing to be unleashed and redeem your rightful birthplace as a Goddess who gets to decide how and when you fill your cup.
You are the guide here for your sweet little ones; however, you might still need to walk shoulder to shoulder with me, reminding yourself of the strong, capable, loving, playful, seductive, sporadic, and sensual person you are. I would be honored to help you discover your authentic inner voice, understanding the type of mom you are and how you can be the best mom for your specific children. I invite you to know that there is more to life than getting by.
Acres of Joy,
Rachel

I am a somatic psychotherapist specializing in Women's health. The foundation of my approach to psychotherapy is in addressing the needs of the nervous system, helping clients to understand their own behavior and to improve their ability to live in their desired experience (less anxious, less depressed, more hopeful, etc.). In addition, my training provides the opportunity to address the distress of living in experiences that we never wanted to have and don't want to be the reality. I am dedicated to providing women with a safe environment to process trauma, grief, loss, fears and hopes as they manage the tasks of daily life.
I offer support specifically to women as they move towards and transition into motherhood, with awareness and training in reproductive mental health. Many women are not prepared for the challenges that may arise while TTC. Infertility is often a very lonely experience, pregnancy loss is traumatic and can be isolating; I provide a space for you to be seen, heard and validated. For many women issues arise in the 4th trimester when the increased demands of motherhood collide with past experiences, new ways of being in the world, and the myriad of challenges & joys related to family life.
I offer tele-health and in-person sessions depending on clients location and flexibility. Free 20 minute consultations are provided to determine if we are a good therapeutic fit. Every mother deserves support, encouragement, and a sacred space to process their own experience. Please see my website for more information.

I believe that everyone is deserving of support. Transitions are challenging under the smoothest of circumstances, and the perinatal period is known for being full of the unexpected: your journey may not be going as you hoped, you may be experiencing anxiety about what's to come, or feeling low "for no real reason". Many women simply want to take this pivotal time to work through wounds from their past in order to break certain cycles within their family systems. Perhaps you have managed difficulties on your own before, but lately the familiar tools are no longer working.
Together we can sort through what you're going through, work towards your goals, and build upon the strengths you already have to find your innate resilience. I believe each of us has a natural drive towards health and wholeness, though you may need help tuning in to your body to change certain patterns that no longer serve you. I utilize somatic therapy to effect change in the nervous system, as science shows us more and more that "the body keeps the score" (Bessel van der Kolk). When we pay attention to the body in addition to our thoughts and feelings, we change the brain more effectively.
