Doulas
A birth doula is your non-medical support person during pregnancy, labor, and birth. They provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to you and your partner. Think of them as your experienced guide, helping you feel more confident, comfortable, and empowered as you navigate your unique birthing journey. They offer comfort measures, help you understand your options, and advocate for your preferences, working alongside your medical team.
A postpartum doula offers crucial support to new parents and families in the first weeks and months after welcoming a baby. They provide non-medical assistance with newborn care (like feeding, soothing, and diapering), offer emotional support for the parents' well-being, help with light household tasks, and connect you with valuable community resources. Their focus is on nurturing the entire family, promoting bonding, and fostering your confidence as you adjust to life with your new little one.
