Our Village

Service Description

Facilitated by Jo Florence and Alana Wilson. Each gathering will begin with a brief check-in to share what is coming up for you and introduce the monthly topic/theme. Listen to the heartfelt vulnerability of others while sharing your own story. Held within the container of community, Our Village is a brave space to gather, be held, and offer the same to others in similar seasons of life. This month's theme is Thanksgiving - prenatal edition. * Eat & Connect * Wherever you land on your conception journey * Partners welcome Accessibility and inclusion are at the heart of Our Village. We are especially attuned to the needs of non-traditional families. If you are single, queer, or in any other way non-traditional, there is a space here for you! Your facilitators are Jo Florence, midwife apprentice/full-spectrum doula/herbalist, and Alana Wilson, full-spectrum doula/yoga teacher/childbirth educator. Monthly meetings are held at Alana’s home in Durango. Address provided upon sign-up. Registration is required. Registration: August gathering is free for all; $25 for each gathering thereafter.
