In-person Mom/Parent & Baby Group

Service Description

This group is best suited for moms/parents of 0-4 month olds. The typical format for each meeting is a check-in for you to share whatever is on your mind and how you are feeling in that given moment. We then move on to discuss a topic that is led by a group facilitator. Topics can include birth, adoption or bringing your baby home stories, sleep, partner dynamics, and more. Meetings are held every Tuesday 10 am -12 pm at Folsom Park in Durango, Colorado. In case of inclement weather meetings are moved to 1911 Main Ave Durango. Moms/parents and babies are welcome to attend. Registration is required. While we understand that life happens, if you register for this group, we ask that you set the intention to attend every session in order to build a container of trust and mutual support for all group attendees. Our organization and the demand it meets have grown beyond our ability to volunteer. In order to continue to further our reaches and to offer support groups in and around our community we have to build a financial foundation. Registration fees will go toward compensating the facilitators and the overhead costs that we incur such as our website, advertising, supplies needed for events. Registration options: $80 for 8 week session for yourself $160 pay for yourself and donate to cover another participant $900 sponsor a whole group We do not want financial constraint to keep you from a support group.
